Jack Hellwig

Senior Vice President/Investments

Jack began his investment industry career in 2014 as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley, where he spent six years and forged his professional relationship with Zach before joining Chicago’s B. Riley Wealth Management office in 2020. He transitioned to Stifel in 2025. Jack’s interest in investing took hold during his teenage years, when he first became a shareholder of a public company.

Jack pursued his passion for finance in college and earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he also played club baseball for four years and served as team captain for two years. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Over the past decade, Jack has amassed a great deal of experience working with high-net-worth investors.

Outside the office, Jack strives to make his community a better place as an active volunteer with WITS (Working In The Schools), a Chicago nonprofit that sets students on a trajectory for success by building critical literacy skills and developing positive self-identity. He is a member of Old St. Patrick’s church and the Hinsdale Golf Club.

Zach Harveth

Vice President/Investments

Zach began his investment industry career in 2014, when he served as a Financial Advisor Associate at Morgan Stanley, which is also where he and Jack became friends and colleagues. Zach transitioned to Stifel in 2019 and partnered with Jack when he joined the firm in 2025. Prior to entering the investment industry, Zach served in the United States Air Force Reserves from 2000 to 2006. Zach holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).

Taking a holistic approach, Zach develops customized investment and wealth management plans that align with his clients’ risk tolerance, time horizon, and long-term goals while addressing their insurance and current and future income needs. He leverages Stifel’s robust financial planning platform to create realistic expectations of his clients’ financial future based on their savings, tax implications, spending behavior, and target asset allocation.

Outside the office, Zach likes to work out and play golf when he has some free time. He resides in Wheaton, Illinois, with his wife and three daughters and also enjoys spending time with his family and indulging in good food and wine.
